Directions: this phase included several resources to support a single claim, and incorporated a definition of terms within or of your topic, as well as context. Reflect on how these different resources affected your paper, and how making the terms and history of your topic clear to your audience helped with your focus in the paper. Also reflect on how having more sources for your claim helped your writing. Did it make discussing your topic easier? If you feel that having more resources was negative, please explain why.

On this phase I have found that it was pretty tricky to integrate my sources to give back up for my main points without restating the same information over again. The ability to use an older source was great to give me more definition to where the terms introverts and extroverts came from. The more sources made me feel more comfortable with claiming one side over the other on my thesis statement. The only negative to so many sources is again is trying not to having repetitive information.
ReplyDeleteI found this phase a little easier with additional sources. The difficulty I had was to reorganize my annotated bibliography and I felt in a little over my head. The new information though gave more statistics and I was able to tweak the previous paper and give my argument a bit more credibility. I found myself changing direction with my topic a little bet as well. Once I finished Phase 2 I felt accomplished and and more confident for the next phase.

DeleteThis phase was majoritively a pain but it had its upsides. With the last phase, having only the two sources didnt help because each source only had so much information. However, having more sources for this phase definetely helped me because the more sources allowed me to ellaborate and expand on my topic. So while, I dont think Im going to get the best grade on this paper, I do think it will help provide something to build off of for phase three.
ReplyDeleteHaving sources, more sources in this case, really helped back my paper up than my last one. It made it easier to elaborate on. Personally, I think the amount of sources I used was a comfortable amount. If I used anymore, it would have been overwhelming considering I had found just a couple articles that had everything I needed in them.
ReplyDeleteI feel that having more resources for this essay helped greatly. The resources made my paper much more concrete, I did however have a hard time finding multiple resources due to my topic, I think for the next paper I should start looking for more resources earlier than usual.
ReplyDeleteIn this phase, I found that I was way ahead on my information. I had so much information that helped, I had to take some out for this paper. The next phase is going to be easier since I am ahead and I have lots more ideas. The only part that was a little tough was being consistent when taking out sentences and paragraphs. Otherwise, I was efficient with my time and work ethic, no panics at the last minute, it was super smooth.
